Mini Movie Festival
is a showcase and an investigation of movies made on digital still
cameras and camera phones. Mini Movie Festivals are free and open
to the public. Everyone is invited to participate and may include
up to three movies with a time limit of 60 seconds each. CD-Rs of
each Mini Movie Festival are available for $3 each.
The first Grand Rapids Mini Movie Festival was held at the Division
Avenue Arts Cooperative [www.thedaac.org]
on January 30, 2005. An article in the Grand Rapids Press [read
it here] encouraged an overwhelming turn out. We screened nearly
50 mini movies.
The next Grand Rapids Mini Movie Festival will be held sometime
in April, and it will be in Chicago at the end of April. Watch our
‘news’ section for details.
Please also submit your mini movies to minimovies@dynamitefamily.com
we look forward to seeing them and screening them.
